Google has added the ability for Gemini Live to remember past chats and pull information from connected apps such as YouTube and Workspace, rolling it out in English (US). Until now, the voice-conversation mode Gemini Live treated each session largely in isolation, forcing users to re-explain context every time. With this update, it can securely retain key details from past conversations—dietary restrictions, important family dates, hobbies—and respond with context without repeated input.
