Aseon Labs, a Redwood City-based startup, has raised $10 million in a seed round to build "robotic pit stops" that autonomously clean, charge and inspect robotaxis within cities. According to TechCrunch, the company is developing parking-spot-sized automated pods—described as a "depot in a box"—that can be distributed across a city's operating zones so vehicles no longer need to travel long distances to a central base for servicing.
