Pramaana Labs, a US startup applying formal verification to AI, announced on June 17, 2026 that it had raised a $27 million seed round led by Khosla Ventures. The company aims to make AI usable in error-intolerant fields such as tax, legal and healthcare by layering a mathematically checkable verification layer on top of LLM outputs. Accel, Boldcap, Nexus Venture Partners, Premji Invest and Unbound also participated in the round. (the announcement)
