Google began rolling out its new smartwatch operating system, Wear OS 7, around June 16, 2026. It targets the Pixel Watch 2, 3 and 4, adding Gemini AI integration, redesigned widgets and a battery improvement of up to 10%. The original Pixel Watch is not supported, and the update is delivered to Pixel Watch users as a phased OTA (over-the-air) rollout. The official announcement was made on Google's blog, and outlets including Engadget, The Verge and Wareable reported it the same day.
