Sakana AI Unveils Fugu, a Model That Orchestrates Other LLMs

Tokyo-based AI lab Sakana AI has opened beta access to two new commercial products, Sakana Fugu and a higher-end Sakana Fugu Ultra, positioned as a multi-agent orchestration system that dynamically coordinates multiple frontier foundation models. Through a single OpenAI-compatible API endpoint, the system calls external state-of-the-art LLMs, assigns them roles, and integrates their outputs, letting users handle multiple models under one model name.
