Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) said on June 15, 2026 that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Fin (formerly Intercom), a developer of AI-powered customer agents, for about $3.6 billion. The deal is subject to customary purchase price adjustments and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of Salesforce's fiscal 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions. According to the announcement, the move reinforces the software giant's push to win new business in enterprise AI. Reuters also reported the same day that the price was around $3.6 billion.
