Apollo Global Management and Blackstone have led a $35 billion financing for Anthropic's AI compute expansion, with Broadcom playing a central role. Under an unusual structure in which Broadcom backstops the residual value of the chips, an initial 1 GW of capacity will be deployed at Fluidstack-operated U.S. data centers starting in mid-2026.
