Nitrosend, led by former SmartrMail co-founder George Hartley, has launched an "AI-native" email platform that can be operated directly from MCP-compatible AI agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor. It removes the dashboard that traditional email service providers (ESPs) have relied on and instead treats the AI agent itself as the primary interface, generating newsletters, transactional messages and branching automation sequences—all as editable markup.
