Moonshot AI released its flagship agentic model "Kimi K2.6" as open source in April 2026. A coding-focused preview, "Kimi K2.6 Code," was offered alongside it, emphasizing long-horizon coding (large, multi-step code changes), agent swarm, and coding-driven UI/UX generation.
