Google has added "Managed Agents" to the Gemini API, a feature that spins up and runs an autonomous agent inside a remote Linux sandbox with a single API call. Google handles the underlying plumbing—sandbox provisioning, orchestration and state management—so developers can focus on building the agent's logic.
