Microsoft says it is extending Microsoft Purview sensitivity-label settings to stop the contents of Word, Excel and PowerPoint files from being sent to and analyzed by connected services such as Microsoft 365 Copilot. Announced via message MC1297982, the change broadens the existing label setting "Prevent some connected experiences that analyze content" (BlockContentAnalysisServices in PowerShell) so that files carrying the label are blocked from Copilot content analysis, as reported by Office 365 for IT Pros and CybersecurityNews.
