The Greater London Authority (GLA) said in a report published in April 2026 that more than 300,000 of the city's workers are in jobs classified as having "high exposure" (high risk) to generative AI (GenAI), with a further 748,000 in the next-highest exposure category. The paper was authored by GLA economist Jeff Dwan-O'Reilly and draws on the International Labour Organization (ILO) estimates of occupational exposure.
