OpenAI said on June 15, 2026 (local time) that it is gradually rolling out the ability to pin chats and projects in the web version of ChatGPT, along with new options for organizing the "Recents" list. Users can hover over a chat or project in the sidebar to pin it, and can choose to display recent conversations as a single list or grouped by project.
