JetBrains has added Chrome DevTools Connect to WebStorm 2026.2.1, giving AI coding agents a built-in route to open Chrome, inspect a live page, diagnose runtime behavior, and verify fixes without making the developer relay information between the IDE and browser. The integration was built with Google's Chrome DevTools team and is delivered as the bundled chrome-devtools-cli skill.
