Google DeepMind Introduces SL2T for ASL-to-English Input on Pixel 11

Google DeepMind has introduced SL2T, a sign-language-to-text model that brings American Sign Language-to-English input to Gboard and Live Transcribe on Pixel 11. The system lets Deaf and hard-of-hearing users sign to their phone wherever they would normally type, while keeping the generated text under the signer's control.
