Nick Fox, the Google senior vice president overseeing search, appeared on Bloomberg TV and described the push to put generative AI at the center of Search as the biggest change in more than two decades. In the interview, Fox said Google is directly integrating AI-generated answers, conversational search and reasoning tools into Search, letting users resolve more complex questions faster while keeping connections to web content. At the same time, he noted that a drop in keystrokes during searches could affect traffic to websites.
