Cutback, a maker of video editing tools, has launched Selects, an AI editing assistant for long-form content such as podcasts and interviews. Once raw footage is imported, it analyzes both the audio transcript and the video, building a storyline from a natural-language prompt in minutes. The company reports roughly 60% less editing time per project.
