NVIDIA has introduced the NVIDIA Agent Toolkit (also known as the NVIDIA NeMo Agent Toolkit), a foundation for enterprises to build specialized AI agents tuned to their own workflows, bundling open Nemotron models, tools and skills, and a secure runtime into a single package. As the industry shifts from generative AI toward autonomous agents that take action, the company aims to move proof-of-concept demos into production-grade systems with the reliability, security and efficiency required for real deployment. According to the official announcement, the stack combines open Nemotron models, tools integrated with CUDA-X libraries, the policy-based secure runtime "OpenShell," the "AI-Q" blueprint for hybrid agentic search, and the "NemoClaw" reference deployment, assembled as modular components.
