Luxembourg-based music platform Jamendo filed suit against NVIDIA Corporation in the US District Court for the Northern District of California on June 22, 2026 (US time), alleging its catalog was used without authorization to train AI systems. According to the complaint, NVIDIA copied hundreds of audio files and associated metadata from Jamendo's platform without permission to train the audio generation model "Fugatto" and the audio-describing language model "Audio Flamingo." The case was filed as S.A. Jamendo v. Nvidia Corp, No. 5:26-cv-06206.
