SpaceX has officially unveiled the design renderings and specifications of AI1, its first-generation AI compute satellite built to run AI workloads in orbit. Presented during a technical update video by Elon Musk, the satellite carries a compute payload of 150 kW at peak and 120 kW on average per unit, with a large solar array spanning a 70-meter wingspan and a liquid-cooled radiator. According to reporting, the reveal provides a visual and technical underpinning for SpaceX's orbital data center vision.
