ClickUp's AI assistant, ClickUp Brain, has gained a new behavior in which it detects recurring work, then proposes and provisions a dedicated agent to handle it, as surfaced in June 2026. When Brain judges that a task is "worth handing off to an agent," it presents an agent that already has its triggers, rules and scope defined, and once Brain finishes the task at hand, that agent continues to carry the work forward.
