Google announced on June 22, 2026 that it has updated the flashcard feature in its AI research tool NotebookLM, enabling users to directly edit the question and answer text of generated cards and add brand-new cards. From the Studio panel, users can rewrite generated cards and add their own to build a study set, with sharing via link also emphasized.
